Dear Editor:

In your comments on the workers who contributed so largely to our success in the late canvass, I heartily endorse every word you have said about Messrs. D. Q Eggleston, William Carrington and A. J. Terry and last, but not least, about Mr. B. B. Bouldin, that good and great worker.  I see that someone has put him down as hero of the banner precinct and contributed so largely to our majority at Priddy’s.  A. B. Rice does the best work on Election Day of any man I know.  I saw him vote a man named Grief Pollard that lives on George B. Hannah’s place that has always voted Republican before.  I well know that he voted more than 50 negroes and he is the best I ever saw.
