Judge Victor Estofinal [Estopinal] was recently shot in Jefferson Parish, New Orleans. The murderer, a negro named O.V. Judson escaped into a swamp. A mob of white men failing to find him hung three of his brothers for not telling where he was. Reports stated that the negroes were driving the whites into the outskirts of the city.
